Suicide Prevention Hotline

  • If you or someone you love may be at risk, there is hope — call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK or text Connect to 741741. The deaf and hard of hearing can contact the Lifeline via TTY at 1-800-799-4889. If this is an emergency or you think you may harm yourself, please call 911.

Substance Use Treatment Helpline

  • Call 1-800-662-4357 to access Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMSA) National Helpline. This helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.   • Teammates and their families who are enrolled in the Brown & Brown UnitedHealthcare plan have access to a substance use recovery advocate. Advocates provide judgment-free support. Call the UHC Substance Use Treatment Helpline at 1-855-780-5955, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or visit www.liveandworkwell.com/recovery to find care options and resources.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Our Employee Assistance Program is available to all Brown & Brown teammates and their family members. Call 1-844-206-1068 for confidential support, guidance, and resources. Assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is no cost to you.
